Vitiligo symptoms- Things You Need To Know About Vitiligo

Vitiligo is a disorder with colour loss. The colour loss over skin increases the prominence of that area developing it as a white patch. It normally occurs due to Melanocyte cell loss or due to death of cells. The immunity actually harms the pigment producing melanocyte cells resulting into less production of melanin pigment. Vitiligo is even called symptomless as there is almost no symptom of it before emergence of a spot. Vitiligo only has the sign as it is visible after the spot actually emerges.

But few Vitiligo symptoms can be characterized as:

Symptoms of vitiligo include fading of skin colour.

Due to disturbed immunity system which harms the melanocyte cells for less production of melanin pigment, the pigment deposition over the skin gets lowered. The absence of pigment actually lowers the melanin from skin. The reducing pigment colour of the skin if not get treated on time will result into formation of a white patch.

Another symptom of vitiligo could be mild irritation or rashes.
Multiple cases have been reported of vitiligo after mild irritation or itching over the area. When vitiligo occurs due to allergy then mostly mild irritation or itching can be seen before the appearance of the patch. The reason for allergy could be plastic contact, tight fittings or chemicals, even chlorinated water swimming.

Sometimes vitiligo occurs after hyper pigmentation also
A few cases which developed vitiligo have previous history of hyperpigmentation. Normally it can be related to pigment misbalance in the body. Halo nevus (a mole surrounded by a depigmented ring) sometimes has the association of vitiligo as seen mostly in small kid patients of vitiligo.

Although vitiligo is symptomless most of the times but if the vitiligo
symptoms and signs can be understood on time then the treatment of vitiligo can be done well through Ayurvedic treatment.
